Tbilisi at Night (28.5.14)

Considering none of us woke up until 5 pm after waking up early to take Hailey to the Airport, most of our adventures today came at dusk and/or night time. Mikes old family friends drove us a little ways out of town to one of the Georgia’s most renowned restaurant for traditional food. There we had Khinkali, Kababi, Khachapuri, and Mtsvadi. It was the first time I couldn’t finish my meal.

After that we ventured into a small town with a beautiful church. I said the town looked a little German, Mike disagreed.

After this we drove up to the top of the hill to get a fantastic view from the Monastery:

We drove back into the city and up to the castle that overlooks the city. It was the first time I really got to see the town from above at night.

Tomorrow our plans are open so we’ll see what we end up doing. Either way, I’ll keep y’all up to date.

For Now, Cheers!
