It’s nice to have a guide with a planned itinerary. It helps facilitate seeing the major highlights of a town that is MADE of highlights.
Yesterday morning, we drove about 40 minutes into the city to spend the day touring around Chicago. We began with Millennium Park.
Of course, we took a visit to the acclaimed Bean and took foolish pictures in the reflection
The Ferris Wheel at the Navy Pier was our next stop. The skyline view was spectacular
We walked through the Navy Pier and found Garrets, the world famous popcorn store
I’m not typically an art-appreciation fellow, but if I were, I would prefer contemporary style. Luckily, Chicago has one of those! The Chicago Museum of Contemporary Art was… confusing, to say the least.
Finally, the most anticipated part of the day: front row seats to the Chicago Blackhawks hockey game. Gifted by her father, we were able to sit front row, right near the opponents penalty box. It was exciting
Today we have a day full of October-y activities, one of which being a corn maze!
For Now, Cheers!
