Ruggers Roughin’ It In Ireland

2014 was an amazing year for me, especially travel wise. I made my way to several new regions highlighted by my first trip to the Caribbean and another trip to the Caucasus.

As for this upcoming year, at least for now, it looks like it’s going to be a comparatively slow year. So far, my Spring Break trip to Ireland is the only one confirmed, but it’s going to be a good one. February 27th, UMW Rugby Football Club ventures off to Ireland: The Land of Guinness and Potatoes to take on Dublin, Cork, and Galway. We plan on training with numerous Irish Premier League teams, as well as the Irish National Team. We will compete against our sister school, the University of College Cork, who, as a club, consistently places top within the rankings of their league.

I’ve heard some pretty ridiculous stories from those teammates who went with the club two years ago, leaving me partially scared for my life, and partially excited for the best week of it!

Have you been to Ireland?? Leave comments below on some of the best things to do while in any of these cities 🙂
