Utilize Hostel Kitchen’s

When traveling, food is one of the major costs one’s going to run into. To balance out the costs, every few days or so, utilize your hostel’s kitchen! They’re absolutely free, they typically have pots, pans, plates, and utensils, and most of them have some pretty extensive equipment! Better yet, get a group of other travelers looking to save money, and split the costs of the food! A single package of noodles could feed 3-4 people, and with 2 or 3 packages of meat, you’ve got yourself a full and hardy meal for under $10. Furthermore, shopping at a grocery store is a great way to see what the locals eat.

Cooking can save money, introduce you to new people, and experience the life of a native.
